Following last month's revisions, we have started the printing of the Hoard of Ghaundal book! In addition, the premium version of the Hoard Of Ghaundal is going through final test printing and should go into full scale printing very soon.

As we approved all the various components, we have started production on them all- Card Decks, Dice sets, Maps, DM Screen and Box.

Prototypes photos! Production Update.
Greetings Mammoths! We are happy to hold in our hands many prototypes this month!
In this update: - Book test print - Card decks and coins test production - Soft and Sharp edge dice prototypes - Box prototype - DM screen prototype - Map Prototype - Production
Book test print
We reviewed two print prototypes of the Hoard of Ghaundal, decided what paper would be best for the print run, and located a few missing page numbers and other small print that needed correction. Overall we are super impressed with the print quality and colors! It is even better than we hoped for.
Card Decks and coins
Card decks
We reviewed the card decks and very happy with how they came out. We did notice one magic item was not sent to print, and corrected it for future production. This Item will also be added to the Magic Items PDF on MyMiniFactory.
Box
You can see, it is marvelous! Size will need to be adjusted, but other then that we are very happy. The internal box organizer for the different components was also tested successfully, holding all components in place.
This map has gone through countless edits and corrections behind the screen, and we are so exhilarated to see it in print and looking so good. we made sure it is sized correctly so it can be folded and go flush with our book.
Production
Now that We've approved and made all necessary corrections and final touches, we are heading into the mass production phase.

August Update, NPC and Magic Item PDF Release + Production in full steam!
Greetings, Mammoths! We are happy to see many items are finished pre-production this month!
In this update: - NPC & Magic Items PDF Fulfilment - Physical Miniature production - update
Physical Miniature
We'll keep this short and brief - we finished producing ~95% of the miniatures needed for fulfillment, just three models needed some fine tuning for the mass production process and are already corrected and going through test printing. We have started packing into our boxes the collections, Owlbears pack, Character pack and Hero Pack this week.
NPC and Magic Item PDF Release -> Being added to your MyMiniFactory Library!
As we finalized all the art, formatting, wording and layout of our cards, we have made the print-at-home PDF version available to all that had it included in their tiers. Note that the cards faces are adjacent to each other, so you can print them without needing to match front to back print order. just cut, fold and sleeve!
Book, Deluxe Book DM Screen and Card Deck
Following your help in hunting for errors, we have sent in the book, Deluxe book cover, DM screen, both card decks and world map to a test print at our manufacturing partners facilities in China & the UK. We are waiting to receive the results for quality assurance.

June Update, Full PDF Release + Production Begins!

In this update: - Physical Miniature production update - FULL PDF - Early Access -> we want your feedback
Physical Miniature
Earlier this month we sat down inspected the 200+ individual miniatures produced as a test run. some issues were discovered and are being addressed by our sculpting and support team. Several sets were perfect and will be going into mass production soon.

Following a rigorous process of editing, rewriting, proofing and a heap of layout, art and graphics work, we are proud to present you with the early access version of The Hoard Of Ghaundal PDF! woohoo!
P.S. The Foundry VTT is now in the works. watch this space for further updates.
About our editing and writing process:
Taking the 8 adventure and turning them into a single fully fleshed out cohesive campaign has proved to be quite a challenging task. here are some of the main things we've done:
1) We commissioned some amazing magic items and character art that we wanted to include in the book. We could only do that after the campaign finished and there is a lot of art in the book. We are so happy with the art, it brought the book up to a new level.
2) We had to change the order some of the adventure, because they didn't feel like they had the best order based on difficulty so we went ahead and changed 2 of the adventures. This includes changing the levels of many creature, and the number of creatures and some of their mechanics to fit better into the campaign - as we were coming up with the campaign as we were playtesting it - now it makes much more sense and will give a much more balanced playing experience for the campaign as a whole.
Sidequest: hunting for typos 😉
Our proofreading team have been hard at work going over the 335 pages of the PDF for some time now. If you enjoy hunting for typos you can help! Over the Following month we will be looking at any feedback regarding typos or graphical errors remaining before sending The Hoard Of Ghaundal to print.

BOOK Proofing for the Hoard Of Ghaundal is at its final stages, and we will be able to start test printing very shortly. Covers for both version of the book are close to finalized as well, almost final version (With some comment editing comments as Works in Progress do):
DM Screen Our Dungeon Master’s screen is close to done. Formatting is in progress and once done we can proceed to the printers! Our DM Screen will feature a Magic item generator you might have seen being tested over on our Discord server. Have a try at it yourself and tell us what you think!
Character And Hero pack We had the first print of the boxes, we understood what needed to change: Some text was too small or too close to the box edge. We are also testing a slightly bigger box on the next print run. Here is the first print version:

Coin & Pin We are working with our manufacturer on finishing the coin design. Here is the final layout:

Mammoth Pin Prototypes
Dice Both dice sets have started tooling- that is the mold making! We had to add some laser engraved details to the D4 to accommodate our delicate design. It will cost us a bit more to manufacture, but feels like the correct decision in order to make the best looking dice we can. We are prototyping 4 color combinations for the Magma dice (Soft edge), just to make sure we have the best fit to our vision. We are quite happy with how these are turning out- you can see them here:

Physical Miniature By the time you read this, we have started manufacturing the final test run of our industrial resin 3d printed miniatures. This means all the mass produced packs: Owlbear Pack, Hero Pack, Character Pack, Giant Ettin, Dragolord Ghaundal, The Village and the Overseer, AND all 8 sets of miniature collections. If it sounds like a lot- it’s because it is! After printing is done, our CEO will be inspecting all the prints at our manufacturing partner’s facility personally. We will be triple checking the manufacturing, packing and sorting procedures to ensure this to be as precise and orderly as possible.
STL Stretch Goal Delivery STL rewards have been delivered to your the MyMiniFactory accounts at the start of March, and the stretch Goal STL Rewards were delivered earlier this week. Other Digital rewards will be delivered once completed. If you cannot locate your Digital rewards, please let us know at [email protected]
Tax & Shipping are charged at a later date 🦺 The final Tax & shipping costs will be charged once we have made all the prototypes and we know how much the product weighs and we know your address, so please hang on tight until we get those final numbers down.
